After being given a question regarding assay optimization, she independently conceptualized, planned, executed, analyzed, and interpreted experiments. The experiments she planned were robust and well controlled. Her assay optimization acitivites have directly led to at least a 10% reduction in the cost of the assay which will translate to 10’s of thousands of dollars in savings yearly.
